The pitcher :  when properly filled, will hold 1/2 gallon of water. The Activator head takes 30 minutes to process 1/2 gallon of water. Electric adapter 110- 220 volt .The Activator head is rated for 7200 hours (7200 gallons) or roughly 3 years of normal use. Fill the pitcher to the line marked "maximum limit".
The bottom part of activator should not touch the liquid. Please leave the space between liquid and the bottom of unit approximately 1 inch. Please store MRET water in a non-conductive container made of glass, plastic or porcelain.
